ICDVRAT & ArtAbilitation Programme Overview

ICDVRAT & ArtAbilitation in 2008 will be held as a single stream conference. The full conference will run from Monday 8th September to Thursday 11th September (AM), with pre-conference activities scheduled for Sunday for those travelling early.

Main Sessions

The main sessions will take place at the Maia Forum, Maia (right) from Monday 8th September to Wednesday 10th September.

Special Session: Helping Through Music

A special session for ICDVRAT and ArtAbilitation called Helping Through Music will be held at the Casa da Musica (below), in nearby Porto, on Thursday, 11th September, and the conference will conclude with a final session Interpretations, an interactive "work in progress" presentation on a new series of music concerts, based on the concept of sense substitution, being developed with the Orquestra Nacional do Porto. 2nd International Congress on Art, Brain & Langauges

Following the closing session for ICDVRAT & ArtAbilitation, there will be further presentations at the 2nd International Congress on Art, Brain and Languages, to be held on Thursday, 11th (PM) and Friday, 12th, also at the Casa da Musica. Attendance at the Congress is free to delegates of ICDVRAT & ArtAbilitation. For more details see link to the left.
